About Us
Bare with the lengthy story as it is one that has developed over time and is continuing to grow!
I conceived What a Wonderful Life as a way to combine my love for fashion and design with a cause I have become extremely passionate about. Anyone can make a donation to these foundations but by buying one of our pieces customers not only financially support the organizations but the consumer becomes a walking billboard for supporting mental health resource organizations. The best feeling I have gotten is when other people say they were stopped on the street and asked about the sweatshirts. Others being able to spread the awareness through our products is what this all comes down to at the end of the day.
This cause has become something I am passionate about for a number of reasons, some personal some seeing how it has affected others around me. I found that the creative side of me has been a healthy outlet to be able to relax and focus on something else when I need to calm my mind down. Being able to combine the two has been an amazing and fun experience. What a Wonderful Life is meant to put a positive spin on what has had a negative stigma and to support organizations doing amazing work.
After finishing Graduate School at Fairfield I decided to take a break from What a Wonderful Life however. I needed a break, I was starting my adult life working and moving back across the country to Los Angeles. Over that time I branched out a lot in trying new creative things and mediums. I found a passion for photography and videography that coupled nicely with the production experience I was gaining from work. With this as well as learning more about clothing, fashion, and manufacturing as well as learning more about myself and what I like I feel like I am at a place to start this again. There will be more clothes and an even better podcast now! It is all one big work in progress that is meant to help others along the way. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way!
